I have been really into the wet hopped IPAs lately:
I believe that former Senator and first American to orbit the earth John Glenn lives at Miranova.
-We will play host to some sort of tragedy, either natural or man made, that is beyond the scale of anything the city has seen before.
Worse than Ameriflora ’92?
Tom Green … “Rapper”?
I never really found him funny. All I remember was when he put an ice sculpture of two people having sex on his parent’s yard.
Yeah, he has been a rapper for a long time. He was in a Canadian rap group called Organized Rhyme in the 90’s:
He also raps solo under the name MC Bones.October 2, 2012 9:02 pm at 9:02 pm in reply to: We need a Deep Dish Chicago-style Stuffed Pizza Joint #161449
Ah, no worries. Well if you do ever make it out there, we actually have quite a few good pizza joints, although deep dish is not our strong suit.
In Columbus, I always liked Fabians better than Wholly Joes but I agree with Walker that Fabians has some customer service issues.October 2, 2012 8:48 pm at 8:48 pm in reply to: We need a Deep Dish Chicago-style Stuffed Pizza Joint #161447
I’ve never had good deep dish Chicago style pizza in Columbus, Japan, Thailand or British Columbia. Sounds like there are a couple candidates that do Chicago style in Columbus but we haven’t tried them before.
What places did you try in BC? I could probably recommend you a few.October 2, 2012 4:50 pm at 4:50 pm in reply to: We need a Deep Dish Chicago-style Stuffed Pizza Joint #161435
In other news, the best Thai place in Columbus is probably in Thailand.October 2, 2012 4:42 pm at 4:42 pm in reply to: We need a Deep Dish Chicago-style Stuffed Pizza Joint #161434
Can anyone recommend any good sushi in Columbus that’s actually in Tokyo?
I really enjoyed this place last time I was in Tokyo:
Highly recommend it. Best Columbus Sushi in Tokyo, hands down.October 1, 2012 7:52 pm at 7:52 pm in reply to: We need a Deep Dish Chicago-style Stuffed Pizza Joint #161431
I agree with Timeone on Pequod’s. My only complaint is it’s about a 20 minute walk from the brown line.
Renaldi’s is excellent (although not deep dish), and closer to the heart of Lincoln Park. http://www.renaldispizzachicago.com/
I’m also a big fan of Art of Pizza http://www.theartofpizzainc.com/.
The Gino’s on Superior is good if you’re down closer to the loop.
