Anybody psyched for The Division next week?
Yes and no. Wasn’t overwhelmed by the beta, got ridiculously pwned in the Dark Zone repeatedly…but still thinking it will be fun.
Primal has been a big surprise, like it WAY more than I thought.
Been playing This War Of Mine: The Children…because what can make a super depressing war time simulation even more brutal? Kids.
Glad someone else is digging Primal. Loving it.
Enjoying Far Cry: Primal WAY more than I thought I would. I didn’t even finish Far Cry 4 because I got burnt out on the formula, and just overall fatigue of that type of open world shooter genre (Far Cry, GTA, Watch Dogs, Just Cause).
Primal is quite a bit different and a much needed shake up. Loving it.
“The company took over three units that were closed in September when the franchisee was shut down by the state for unpaid taxes.
The past four months have been spent renegotiating leases with the three property owners in Westerville, Gahanna and Powell and hiring up to 80 staff members. Some managers under the franchisee are returning to work for the company, but most of the employees are new.
Looking to open 5 more in the Central Ohio Market …
Crane declined to share any specific sites, but said the company is looking in five areas – Dublin, Hilliard-Rome Road, Polaris, Pickerington and Grandview Heights – and has issued letters of intent on a couple of spots.
He put the time frame for new restaurants at between 18 and 36 months because some of the potential sites are in developments that are not yet built.
They’ll just end up failing again. The food there isn’t very good (and I’m not a contrarian when it comes to food places). They taste like Steak & Shake “smashed” thin patties, and their special sauce isn’t remarkable at all. I thought their shakes weren’t good (how do you mess up a milkshake?), and parmesan rosemary fries aren’t wowing anyone in 2016.
With Five Guys, and plenty of other places in Columbus to get fast casual burgers (hell, even Wendy’s is on-par or better than Smashburger), I don’t see them having much success.
Totally. Like, what IS the smoke monster?
Interesting the story from the book is all done and now they’re just making it up as they go along.
The author has been working alongside the crew on the show, even co-writing a few episodes.
I was on the fence after season 1, but after watching season 2 I can confidently say this is one of the most compelling and interesting shows I’ve watched in a long, long time.
Side Note: HBO… having pretty significant spoilers in the form of a Season 2 commercial before every episode on HBO GO is pretty freaking dumb for people who are new to the series. SMH.
I watched the entirety of Season 1 in the span of a day (24 hours).
I took a few days break to digest, and now I’m halfway through Season 2.
Loving this show, and really enjoying how Season 2 has expanded upon things. Should be wrapped up with S2 by tomorrow.
Looks like Uwe Boll does LoTR with an Avatar-eque interspecies romance. I smell giant flop.November 3, 2015 11:30 pm at 11:30 pm in reply to: Legalization of Marijuana in Ohio – News & Discussion #1100290
