I may swing by there….after the game. I prefer to watch the games at home with my DVR….

I believe in this economy that if you can live at $15,000 a year then do not go to college….let alone get a law degree.

I have a Political Science bachelors and the natural progression was to law…..I am glad I chose free time and $18,000 a year.

Yeesh, you gotta have a Master’s degree to be a part-time children’s librarian? That surprises me a little.

Really? The abundance of unemployed english majors holding bachelor degrees made this a no brainer for me.

History and English majors need a masters to do just about anything in the public sector….at least that is what my classmates have said.

I play with some guys from Verizon on Sundays. Below average talent.

I have a YMCA membership right now but I am likely going to Lifetime fitness because they are open 24 hours a day.

Its never too expensive for me to have a good court, good pickup games. It is probably my favorite thing in life.

This will help with one stop shopping needs. I love targets dry goods, like those fruit bits and potato chips.

I talked to a cashier the other day and he said the think it will be done by Spring…..

I do wonder how this narrative will play out in the big time media. I don’t really see where exploitation can be an issue when Mr. Williams basically offered up himself….with a sign nonetheless.

I find these stories so revealing about what we think about drug use, addiction and human value. But the point I would like to see made…never is.

I have 3 friends that killed themselves and my father has attempted suicide and been in and out of the safety net many times. Some people have personal demons…..nothing anyone else can do. This summer I just watched another young dude overdose. Many people in this world are self destructive, some have better reasons (excuses) than others.

Anyway this became huge huh? If he sticks around Columbus I could give him some voice over work for sure. Now I wonder if the family over on 71 and Sinclair/Morse have any talents…..

Thanks for the answers! I may swing by Lifetime fitness, I work off of Morse Rd so that would make the most sense.

I really need to get to the gym before work but my sleep cycle just fluctuates too much.

    Thanks again.

Alright this thread is close enough to my interest. I don’t sleep well and I find myself on the up or downswing of something between 2-6 a.m. But I am usually awake during these hours.

I am really looking for a gym that is open late night/early morning, preferably with a basketball court. Does anything like this exists in Columbus?

I guess the alternative is to just drink myself to sleep before 2:00am.

I watch at the Roosters on Olentangy River Road. Wings are pretty good and they are always nice with the TV’s.

Great win today against the Jets. I was ecstatic.

Ha. Love this thread. I make hashbrowns 5 times a week and I am trying to break in this skillet…..but it isn’t there. My Grandma has the best ones and I hope that one is coming my way. Although she is the one who bought me my current one….which went unused for 3 years as I had no stove/oven.

How often does your smoke detectors go off? Mine all the time, I take out the battery as soon as I grab the skillet.

I was born and raised in a small town Ohio west of here. A lot of people from my area live here. This is kind of the big city to get to from where I hail.

I moved here because it made the most sense to graduate academic pursuits and other things. Spent a not so fun 8 months at Milo Arts trying to herd cats. Then I left Columbus to Portland ME, Louisville, Memphis and then Cleveland…now I am back with my old job, here.

I will likely be gone shortly with my job but I would rather stay. I love the weather here, radio, having a big college in town and I really like the pockets of town I know. I would be fine buying a $20,000 house and calling it a day here but unfortunately my past makes that not so easy.

If I could find a compatible co-habitator I would probably stay. But for now I think I will be following the money….$10,000 raise may be too much to pass up.

I love Columbus. It is a city I identify with.
