Ha. Tasi breakfast in bed. That does sound good.
They open on Saturday. I am way excited.
This place is hot. I ran by tonight. Ran into one of the architects from Lincoln Street Studio (featured in this month’s Columbus Monthly bit on City Center redux) in the alley. She is excited as well. Paper is off of the windows. Design Within Reach red chairs look great (red version of what Jeni has around the corner). I am really excited! Motorized rickshaw for delivery?!
Northstar Cafe is the answer to everything in this life :)
I attended as well. I loved this event. Hopefully more like this will happen around the city. Wholesome fun on a weekend nightOctober 7, 2007 1:58 pm at 1:58 pm in reply to: Rivet-Cuttingboard Club by Jill Penney and Daniel Torrente #144777

I can’t wait to go also
Let’s keep this taco conversation going… Where are some good tacos spots in and around downtown?
Thanks a lot for the pic post!
I haven’t figured out how to do that on here yet.

That building in Nashville is awesome. The drama of the website cracks me up :)
As great and as loved as Nationwide is, they do need to bring in some heavy weight architects. With the assurance that more condos will be built (and the possibility of more tower projects), give us something more than the same. North Bank’s tower bores me to tears. The loft building on the other hand is pretty cool. The Arena Crossing remains a city favorite for me. I love the color of the brick, the architectural steel gray accent color, etc.. Now, if they would just rip those damn ass lights flanking the new signage off. Don’t put the same lights on that and the same lights on the North Bank tower. Yawn. Sigh.
I agree with you that if you were to put glass boxes in the Arena District, it would be hot! I too would like to see more modern architecture approaches in this and other districts. The Buggyworks is what the Arena has. I wish to see more like what The Metalworks at The Jeffrey has to offer. Those units are hot!
Northstar Cafe in the Short North… I love that place and I believe they regularly hire.
This group of posters is so savvy!
Cafe del Mondo has quite the reputation for its coffee. I prefer Starbucks because they offer organic milk. If anyone knows of any other coffee shops in the downtown area that do offer organic milk, please comment. Best to you
