  • in reply to: The Wood Companies Short North Apartment Building – News & Updates #336566

When the Wood Companies initially renovated this row the structure was put in place so as to accept stories on top.

I feel that the black painted wood in the shape of a garage door just behind of Northstar may become the garage entrance for residents, etc.

It’s great news for me – being located right across the street in a gorgeous historic double-bayed window Edwardian-like storefront.

May my architects, engineers, the city and all powers that be bless my space and help me to open my doors.

    Likes Manatee’s idea!
    Keep the faith though.
I live in the neighborhood and know these guys personally.
All of this is happening at a time when lending was kept very tight.
Lending is supposedly loosening up a bit – so keep the faith.
A Whole Foods occupying all of ground floor would be amazing – with the proposed parking garage on the backside of the Ibiza – it’s very perfect for a large Whole Foods

in reply to: Dr. Mojoe on High St. is getting cleared out #330871

G & Co merged with Dr Mojoe. So what does this mean for them also we have to wonder?

I for one can’t wait to see what great things Twenty-Ten brings the Short North-

This makes me want to work harder on my project – to get people reenergized, push the urbany

in reply to: Fish Tacos in Cbus? #279158

Junior’s Tacos on 5th east of Neil has said they will start making fish tacos soon. I love this place. The tacos are amazing. Surpasses my love for Chipotle on some levels

I am looking to use the name for a business in the state of Ohio only

in reply to: Former Liquid Space in Short North to Become Plasma Donation Center #312050

Too bad Kent Rigsby didn’t take it and do some Osteria kinda thing – keeping Rigsby’s the same but giving them a patio, parking lot and more space – maybe casual it up just a bit. I don’t necessarily think Rigsby’s would want to be what some would say would be a pioneer once again but I would love to see him there rather than other options

though on another thread – I saw the Northstar team @ Rosendales AGAIN yesterday… I feel they are going to take the space… The Wood Companies owns both the building that Rosendale’s is in as well as the Northstar spot @ 2nd High so keep your eyes and ears open!

hmmm. I just want to make sure that what I end up using is legally allowed and no one will pursue me for whatever reason. It’s kinda funny when for the most part names are words in our everyday language…

in reply to: Rigsby’s $10 Lunch Deal #309970

    My favorite spot in Columbus!

The potato gnocchi bolognese is delicious on the lunch deal.

There is at least one other project in the Short North, The York on High, the old Masonic temple. With Myers+Welsh new Smith and High project wrapping up, American Apparel in the block and a brand spankin new Kroger on the way… Great location and spectacular old building

Among my many favorite flavors is now the Mango Lassi. It nursed a hangover. Kid’s portion in a cup with a spoon.

Other favorites include the lemon yogurt with blueberry & the strawberry buttermilk

I want to try the new chocolate with specks

The Bexley store is beautiful. I dig the steel stools in that color. It’s so cool it’s cold. If I only new how to post pics on here from my new iPhone. Go check it out. Walker you are close!
