Ever been to White Sands beach? If I recall, most of their “fun” is made in house and has a customized touch to it.

True, true. I’ve been meaning to venture into Cafe Sahara as it’s on my ride home from work. The beaded curtain entrance is slightly intimidating… or is that my classic, ingrained stereotyping seeming though my skin? Could become a new study spot!
Go to a textbook store. The boxes have a durability prerequisite because books need to look pristine and because they are heavy.
I work at one- although I will not disclose which so that we dont get bombarded with movers- we try to keep them in house… but when someone asks for boxes, we are more than willing to hook them up.
I’ve long sung the Mayor’s praises, but the recent tax-threats against rec centers, police and firefighters are a great cause for concern.
I thought this post was asking me to change the name of downtown Columbus to “Clintonville”. Perhaps then our downtown would vicariously adopt some sensibility and acquire grocery stores, gas stations, etc.
Please don’t call any part of Clintonville “downtown”. I don’t want any influence that will result in me paying taxes to both the city of Columbus and the village of Clintonville… :)
We used to swim at “The Quarry” all the time before security got real tight. It was wholesome, urban cliff-jumping at its finest! Ah, nostalgia…
I can tell you where NOT to go: Dylan State Park- You will exit with the most suspicious layer of film on your skin. Swimland in Whitehall- you will cut your feet on broken glass.
