Finally saw this movie and I really enjoyed it. Charlize was badass and the visuals and choreography were amazing. Only issue I really had was that the dialogue (what little there was) was sometimes hard to understand. Great overall though.
More awesome news for the air cargo industry of Central Ohio!
Add the United Arab Emirates to the list of worldwide locations from which massive Boeing cargo airplanes are bringing an increasing amount of cargo to Rickenbacker Airport.
Emirates SkyCargo, the freight division of Emirates airline, today announced it will begin weekly cargo service to Rickenbacker starting May 27, according to officials of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority.
Columbus is Emirates’ 48th destination for air cargo and sixth in the United States, according to the company.April 1, 2015 2:29 pm at 2:29 pm in reply to: Religious Freedom Restoration Acts and Indy convention business #1069989
But these debates and legislation are not fueled by the religious adherent’s condemnation of sin. Chances are, the florist who refuses to provide flowers for a gay wedding does not deny service to a bride who is on her second or third marriage. Jesus is silent about gay marriage, but roundly and emphatically condemns remarriage after divorce. The photographer who refuses to take pictures for a lesbian marriage (because it is against God’s will) should also decline to photograph a lavish and ostentatiously expensive wedding (Jesus talks a lot about the sinful nature of greed). If this were seriously about not serving sinful people, then obese people would be turned away from fast-food outlets as obviously living the sinful “lifestyle” of a glutton. If this were really about condemning sin, then service would be denied to all sinners, not just a particular sin among a particular, targeted group.
is there a link to this “best Chinese food” man on the street article? I’ve had no luck finding it.
I don’t think this is a good situation for the Asian community here in Columbus. I realize that this could be a big money draw for the casino, but gambling addiction can be a huge problem within the Asian communities.
“Everywhere in the world, Asians are the most valuable segment to a casino on a per-head basis,” said Steve Gallaway, a senior partner of Global Market Advisors, an international gambling consulting firm. “And casinos throughout the world cater to Asians through games, food and other amenities.”
“Their cultures have a higher proclivity toward gambling,” Gallaway said.
In other words, “we know gambling addiction can be a problem within Asian communities, and we’re going to capitalize on it.”
This made me laugh from the article:
“We’ll offer everything from fried rice and General Tso’s chicken and Vietnamese soups and pho,” Birney said.
Wow, how exotic …
I’m surprised no one has started a thread on vaccinations.
Couldn’t get tickets to either the skills competition or the game, but I did run the NHL All Star 5k Saturday morning. It’s only the second time a 5k was held during all star weekend. Carolina Hurricanes did it back in 2011, with 800 participants. 3,600 runners did it this year in 9 am, 30 degree weather. Nice job to everyone who showed up!
