As well as honestly the general Grandview area parking overflow. Everyone uses it. Valet uses it. If another business moves in there it will get crazy again. Traffic will ultra suck for a long time, but that might slow down Broadview(aka the Grandview Outerbelt). They good news is that will get sidewalks now all the way up Broadview to 5th instead of stopping at the Mews.

It was an absolutely dynamite dirt cheap family Greek restaurant 20 years ago. It went up for sale around that time for about 300k for the bar, restaurant and whole building when the patriarch had his quadruple bypass(if memory serves). My buddy asked me if I wanted to go in with him on it but we never did. I was so excited when it was purchased and heard it would be an upgraded restaurant. At that time there was Spagio and Figlio basically only on Grandview avenue with Gibby’s(which I loved) down 3rd. Z Cucina was still Byerley’s Aquarium.

When they opened we went the first week or two and the menu had about ten items, mostly crap including I kid you not peanut butter and jelly and it was not a kid menu.

I enjoyed many a lunch as well as the pool(with 3$ entry fee and full bar) at the Olentangy Inn back in the day.

I understand that yes, when one has their wits about them it is less likely for bad things like this to occur, but this is the same rhetoric that is used in rape and it’s troubling. There is still one person in the situation that absolutely is the wrongdoer. Just because an individual is intoxicated it doesn’t make the wrongdoers actions any less egregious.

What’s in this thread, which is all I’m reading, is a description of a mentally ill guy kind of scaring a couple people.

That plus a significant number of purchases in the last few years to generate the rentals were cash purchases, no mortgage, from large holding companies.

While it is not downtown, the Figlio in Grandview is excellent for kids. Serves pizza and noodles in their base forms and has a big white paper table cloth that kids can draw all over while they wait. Took our kids many times when they were wee. Can seat a big crowd and has a good adult menu.

Bizarre Foods did a Keys Edition and they spearfished them and cooked them up. Looked like fun and tasty. Between shooting Iguanas for food and spearfishing Lion Fish you could hunt invasives and fill your freezer down there.
