Coremodels wrote p.s. The counterfeit operation in question doesn’t exactly sound like arch criminals:

WEST JEFFERSON, Ohio—West Jefferson Police and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office are working together to find what they believe are multiple suspects who have been passing counterfeit $5, $10, and $20 bills. Investigators say counterfeit bills are popping up in Madison County. Investigators say the fake bills have turned up at the Circle K store, the Marathon Gas Station, and the VFW in West Jefferson and the Pilot gas station off Interstate 70 in Madison County.

Authorities have released surveillance photos from the Circle K on December 11, showing a man entering the store before purchasing ice and milk with a counterfeit $5 bill. The suspect was believed to be driving a white Oldsmobile Intrigue. Because the purchases are perishable items such as milk and ice, police believe that the suspects are local.

    Milk and ice?

-Number 1 rule of counterfeit laundering… don’t buy $4.62 worth of goods with a counterfeit bill. Buy a pack of 35 cent gum and get the change. ??

I like how the suspect drive an Intrigue!

-Don’t use paper towels and paper plates. Use real clothe napkins and dishes.

    -Buy kegs instead of cans.

    -Get a room mate.

    -Support local businesses.

    +1

We ditched our cable TV earlier this year and watch TV through Hulu and other free websites. Totally worth it since we only watch a small handful of shows anyway. ;)

    +1. Hulu rules.

    Also,

    -Roll your own cigarettes.

-Get a good collection of tools to fix and repair general things.

    :? :? Me neither. But I always get a 100% refund. :? :?

You could just keep your good job and live frugally anyway…

Go to house shows instead of clubs.

    Get rid of your car

Hang out with friends- They are free. Engage in free activities around town like playing in a band, going on bike rides, scavenger hunts, etc.

Get rid of your debit card- all those itty-bitty purchases add up. Pay only in cash, and only with drawl money directly from the bank in cash, this will really limit your spending. It works very well.

Take a lower paying job so you don’t have to pay Federal income taxes.

    Reduce reuse recycle.

Find non-capitalist goods and services exchanges to partake in. Sharing circles, neighborhood currencies, free markets, food not bombs.

    Don’t do drugs

Went back to the zoo last night with a huge group, had a good time seeing all the lights and music for a friend’s birthday.

Didn’t see too many animals, but the elephants and rhino were in full action. The male elephant was acting very flamboyant in his eating.

Cyclist wrote Does anyone know a place in the city that still does straight razor shaves? I am wanting to treat myself to one. I talked to one barber and she said he used to do it until the 1990’s but stopped for health risks/fear of HIV infection.

Are you going to cut off your beard??

No. Its part of my mullet creation.

With all due respect to Walker, what is it about standing in front of Krogers with a bucket that strikes you as a prerequisite to being mayor?

What are the pre-requisites? Some of my friends call me Mr. Mayor.

You were voted as one of the top “People to Watch” in town, so I guess that comes true today at 11am.

I have been trying to find a clip from Home Alone 2 where Marv wraps his hand in tape and walks by the red bucket and sticks his fist in it and takes a bunch of change. But I’ve had no luck.

You can always volunteer at the radio station with me. That’s where I’ll probably be. We are not doing anything Christmas related.
