This releasing of applicant names and resumes is one of the most idiotic laws we have. First, it doesn’t apply until he is sworn into office. Secondly, I don’t think it was ever intended for minor and non essential position applicants. Or in a situation where litterally hundreds of positions are being filled. It slows down the process, and keeps qualified candidates who can greatly improve the state from applying. Also, it ties up money and resources because now somone in his administration litterally has to go through tens of thousands of applicants and make all of the data public.
I don’t think his intent is do something illegal, but rather to make this whole process more efficient.
Besides who cares? Aren’t there bigger and more important issues?
