What’s in this stuff that is gradually absorbed into a woman’s body?

I’m sure there are other businesses that do this but what bugs me the most about Easton is how some of the stores leave their doors wide open in the heat of summer, and continue to blast the air conditioning. Such a waste.

I mean, I love IKEA. But why? They have a CATALOG! You can order it by mail ANYWHERE in the US.

A lot of people like the social and tactile experience of shopping. To see and feel the merchandise.

Me, I’m not going near that place for months!

How much time in advance does one need to make Sunday brunch reservations? I’ve a visitor in April I want to take there.

    1) Amtrak service.

    2) A coffee shop/grocery store on the west side.

    3) An efficient mass transit system; Light rail, streetcars, whatever works.

    4) A hockey team that makes the playoffs once.

    5) A 6,000 seat arena for college hockey. The Schott is too darn big.

UncommonSense wrote This story can only get bigger, as Brady is a national commodity. Who makes that much endorsement $ riding the bench? Anyway, I will withhold judgement until I see a more complete account.

It’s curious that the only one arrested was apparently with the group allegedly harassed. I was also surprised to see a CPD spokeswoman who sounded more like Quinn’s PR rep on a local (WBNS?) report tonight.. Anyone else see it?

Yep, let’s not forget…this is a former Michigan quarterback…there’s certainly a possibility that he wasn’t the one starting the smack talk, particularly if he was recognized (as he clearly was). I’ll wait till I hear the whole story.

I hate being an internet nit picker but Quinn went to Notre Dame. As he grew up here (I think he went to Dublin-Coffman), yes, I’d say he was recognized. I’m wondering why this story was sat on for over a month. Something’s not right.

How is it that this incident is now being reported, a month and a half later?

If I didn’t sink a chunk of cash into my ’88 Volvo wagon I might take you up on that.

Sounds like a radiator problem with the temp. gauge, about $6-700 to replace.

Still a good price plus the buck.

Watched a lunar eclipse with Buffalo Bills linebacker Corneilus Bennett outside of a bar.

Interviewed Natalie Merchant before 10,000 Maniacs became big.

Took part in an outdoor smoking session and impromptu Q&A with Kurt Vonnegut at Ohio Wesleyan. Got to shake his hand and thank him.

Sold wine to Brooke Smith, not a pleasant woman.

Sold a sweatshirt to Senator Bob Kerrey.

Jay Leno left a couple of messages on my answering machine, it was for my ex wife though.

I’m reading Kidnapped by Robert Louis Stevenson. When I was in Scotland I got some puzzling looks when I said I had not read it. Must read it if I intend to go back there!

Straub is on tap at the Tip-Top? Guess I’ll be going there for dinner tomorrow night!

Yuengling has a regional distribution network and is very slow to expand due to their smaller output.

Personally, and I’m just posting names since I have no idea how you put pictures on here, I like Pilsner Urquell, New Glarus, Anchor Steam and Chimay.

    I miss Hoster’s Amber Lager.

The Topiary Garden on Town Street.

Greenlawn Cemetery, by the pit, is a nice walk.

Also Blacklick and Sharon Woods parks, I’ve yet to go to Highbanks.

Tours of the Ohio Statehouse are free, and you can stare at the new lights at Broad and High afterwards.

Finally, it is not free, but there is always room for Jeni’s.

Malhotra left a message on my answering machine last night. He told me all about the upcoming promotions. If I’d picked up I’d have said you have to get rid of Foote and Federov before I show up again

Ticket sales are slow at Nationwide, a lot of empty seats. Fans have become jaded to the team’s promises to be competitive, this recent slide after their fast start is showing that.

They are playing better, but they’re going to have to show some consistency to people back in the seats.
