Sounds good, can’t wait for a review! Hard to beat the location as far as foot traffic goes. Love the fact that it is all local meats.
Never thought of it, but wondering if Dirty Frank’s also uses Ohio meats?
Having experienced parking in older Boston nieghborhoods, I tend to agree with Walker on the parking issue. I think we have to accept that as nieghborhoods become more dense there need to be tradeoffs. If the parking becomes more of a hassle we will probably get less cars and better public transit. Campus is probably the ideal place for this in Columbus.

It doesn’t sound like a bad fit at all for the area. However, I’m wondering what happens to the grossly overpriced but substandard student rental housing that college students will flee from when they move to the new development?
Landlords will be forced to fix them up to be able to compete?
Most undergrad students have roommates and I remember hearing that the average student pays around $300-400 for rent off campus (as rents are split*). I think there would need to be a lot more dense new residential construction for it to truly effect the rental market in the close proximity to campus. I also think there are amentities to living in some of the older stock, which would appeal to the college crowd. These would include more percieved freedom, often the ability to have pets and the ‘party’ potential over the more dorm like new structure. The new build is targeted at the more mature ‘graduate student’ demographic.
I think it is a good project and I look forward to more as the University continues to grow.
*I recall paying $200 while living in an attic as an undergrad and being pleased as punch.

The Brewery District location gave the radio station an urban setting in a hip area (hipper than the suburbs, anyway) , and also featured a mini concert venue called the Big Room, where acts performing in town often put on special day-time shows for a small crowd

That Dispatch article was kind of odd to say the least. I think Paul Mckenna (self help hypnotherapist) wrote it.
Looks like Mr. White is still cooking.
He is being subpeonaed as a witness to an illegal police search in a third parties case (maybe an attorney looking for publicity).
If it has his name on it people will post it and repost it, and probably only read the title. I hope he gets some peace in rehab.
I guess this shows that the Dispatch is still relevant. Kudos to them. I hope this gentleman gets back on his feet.
I guess there goes my conspiracy theories. Was thinking that Tony Hayward needed some scratch for his kid’s Xmas gifts (ponies aren’t cheap) and knew I needed to drive to the inlaws. :)
No doubt prices will go back up, but I am referring to the recent post Holiday price drop.
It seemed to be around $3.19 in the city for the last week or so and then today they were dropping it back down to $3.03. I kind of think they were milking holiday travelers.January 2, 2011 9:56 pm at 9:56 pm in reply to: Jeep Spare Wheel & Tire Stolen in S. Clintonville – REWARD #420605
This is just for future info, but you can buy a lock for your next spare for around $10 (they make different sizes). I had mine stolen when I lived on East Hudson in the North Campus area. Seems it is a common crime in that area.
I got my replacement rim and tire cheap at a junkyard on McKinley.
