    *slight spoilers warning*

Caeleigh and I saw it this weekend. We really liked it even though it wasn’t quite what we were expecting. It was definitely more “thinky”. :) I felt like it could’ve been slightly longer. The addition of the French guy to help her “remember” seemed kind of pointless… “I want to remember what it’s like to be a normal human. Now I’m going to atomically disintegrate!”

I wonder what would happen if someone DIDN’T take his picture… would there be a Mr. Hyde moment?

Ever since CD101 stopped playing music in the morning and integrated a morning show, I have no need for them anymore. The whole reason I listened to them in the morning was to avoid hearing crotch-shot jokes and guffawing middle-aged men on other stations. Rather than doing their own thing, it’s like they started taking pointers from Clear Channel, which made me quite sad.
This move to 102.5 could be an opportunity to go back to basics with them and rebrand themselves back before they didn’t suck.

Just drove past there today; had avoided the area for awhile since it was such a mess. It looks really nice!

To whoever commented on the Nursing Assistant thing a few pages ago, my husband and I are both licensed STNA’s and can’t get hired anywhere. The job market is completely saturated and nursing homes and home health agencies have upped the ante and want a minimum of one year experience; how do you get experience if no one will give you a break? Good question… let me know if you find out! We are in debt from that stupid Nursing Assistant course, and even if we did get jobs as STNA’s, we’d only make $8 or $9/hr. I guess its good i’m not 30K in debt… :) Although, i’m unemployed too right now so 3K might as well be 30 at this point!

My friend, my husband, and I volunteered last year and it was a miserable experience and made all of us resent ComFest! This year I do plan to go back, although just for my usual funnel cake and browsing of the wares, then we’ll be on our merry way.

They definitely need to get some new blood in there to help run things. The guy running my area, cleanup & recycling, was this old hippie guy who was a complete a-hole with OCD. There was a younger guy who basically took control because he had to, and he did a terrific job. His name was something like Green Forest Monkey or something. :) But, he had his act together, and had he been running it from the get-go, things would have gone WAY more smoothly.

I guess I wish it could get smaller again. I suppose its good for business that all the suburbanites are heading to ComFest, but its taken that homey feel away from it.

We drove cross-country from Oregon to Ohio when we moved back here… it is seriously all a blur! I think because we had an open pickup w/all our crap in the world in it we kind of wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible. So, yeah, pointless post #200 from me. :)

then you’ve probably gotten herpes off of craigslist too. LOL.

seriously though, i’ve sold stuff and bought stuff on there. i have had a couple job interviews that went OK (just weren’t the right fit for me.) no majorly weird happenings or anything.
