Finding the good stuff can be difficult.
For a while, we were ordering a 24-case of Fevertree Ginger Beer from Amazon. (free shipping with Amazon Prime)

    http://www.amazon.com/Fever-Tree-Premium-Ginger-Ounce-Bottles/dp/B002NVZDR4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1342029437&sr=8-1&keywords=fevertree+ginger+beer

Whole Foods carries Fevertree products, but not the ginger beer – at least not last time I checked.
Obviously, there are brands other than Fevertree. Good luck.

I really like Bundaberg ginger beer so I usually buy it at World Market.
Other good brands are cock and bull & fevertree.

Other places that I know stock ginger beer: Hills market & Weilands.
(Hills usually have gosling which has HFCS) and may have Fevertree.

Probably the other independent markets like Huffman’s and Andersons too.

You can buy Regatta ginger beer online

I use this from Whole Foods for my Dark & Stormy’s (usually with Kraken).

The Reed’s products are easier to find but personally I don’t like them.

Double Happiness usually have Cock and Bull behind the bar and I’ve seen a few bars serving Fevertree.

I usually go to Weilands. My current favorite is Fentimans Ginger Beer which is available at Weilands. However, Bundaberg and Goslings are a close second. I just got a new carboy to attempt another batch at home.

The North Campus liquor store (right by the Dube) now has Gosling’s ginger beer, which is pretty much what you need for Dark and Stormys.

Market District also has a decent selection of ginger beer. I second Hungry Woolf’s suggestion of World Market – sometimes it’s even on sale there.

You can also make ginger beer pretty easily –

Any ginger beer labeling itself as “Jamaican” deserves a quick peek at the ingredients – often lime & cardamom (and other flavors) are significant players.
