WEINLAND PARK AND MILO GROGAN OPEN HOUSE
You are cordially invited to an Open House for the Community on the Weinland Park and Milo Grogan Public Infrastructure Improvement Projects

The City of Columbus will make $22.9 million in infrastructure improvements in the Milo Grogan and Weinland Park neighborhoods between 2013 and 2015.

The improvements will include eight projects.
These planned infrastructure improvements will leverage an estimated $281 million in private development.
This work has been made possible through partnerships with neighborhood organizations, the Ohio Department of Transportation, The Ohio State University, Wagenbrenner Development and others.
Improvements are planned on Summit and 4th streets plus 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 11thavenues, and Cleveland, Euclid and Indianola avenues, including:

Resurfacing Summit and 4th streets, in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Transportation
Constructing sidewalks, curbs and Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant curb ramps
Upgrading pavement markings, traffic signals, signage and pedestrian countdown timers and push-button signals at crosswalks
Adding street lights, street trees and landscaping
Building traffic calming features such as curb extensions and a traffic circle
Replacing water line on 11th Avenue and reconstructing the first alley north and first alley south of 11th Avenue
    Adding bike lanes and signage
Representatives from the city of Columbus and its design consultants will be on hand January 16 at Schoenbaum Family Center to answer questions in an open-house format; no formal presentation will be given.
