Meh. We just got pizza elsewhere. Just annoying that they wanted to turn away business based on an invisible stipulation.

Hmmm. Maybe I could make a profit by bringing back a whole shit-load of Giordano’s (or Lou Malnati’s, or Pequod’s, or My Pi, etc…) pizzas and selling them at a mark up? As good as Chicago deep dish is though, I could go for an Adriatico’s.

Adriatico’s near the Ohio State campus has good deep dish pizza.

Haven’t been there yet, but someone told me Meister’s Bar off of Chambers in ‘north’ Grandview/5xNW/Clinton Township has traditional Chicago deep dish pizza.

What is weird is that they don’t seem to have a website.

About Adriaticos, they definitely have a thicker crust pizza but it is not Chicago style. I am not sure what they call it, maybe its Sicilian crust?

what i would do for some peqouds right now, my stomach is flipping. although i usually answer tommy’s as my favorite pie to rep columbus, pequods is the best ever. giordanos is probably the worst of all the joints in chicago.

i would recommend tristano’s in grove city for chicago-style pizza, it’s good

I was just coming here to recommend Tristano’s. Their stuffed pizza is great. They have a nice outdoor seating area that you might want to check out while the weather is still warm.

    They’ve got a Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Meisters-Pizza/246175578747365?ref=ts&fref=ts

Hate when businesses do this, facebook is blocked in a lot of places.

(sidenote, my employer doesn’t even bother blocking myspace)

if they actually cared they would set it up as public so people without facebook accounts can see it. Or better yet, get a website.

Meisters made a corned beef and cabbage pizza for St. Patrick’s day that was pretty darn good.
