In the department of random coincidences, the Brewery District Kroger sells frozen stuffed crust (not deep dish) pizza. And you can order it half baked from Edwardo’s.

    Edwardo’s order

However, I think the majority of people nationwide are more familiar with deep dish pizza than stuffed crust.

Bear doesn’t like it when people like things that he doesn’t like.

No, no, not that. (Jeez! — and, what’s more, not true… see paragraph on White Castle about halfway down.)

It’s just that Fabian’s had already been mentioned. Three times. In only fourteen posts.

Actually, I don’t mind their pizza — could take it or leave it. I just anticipated the inevitable “It’s not Chicago pizza” reaction.

I’m just giving you a hard time. ;) It’s not too uncommon to see the same places get suggested over and over with a very specific question like this one, but yeah… I know there are plenty of Chicago Deep Dish purists that aren’t Fabian’s fans. I’m guessing they’re probably just tired of fighting that battle, as it’s been done 100 times already.

I second Wholly Joe’s. You can get a Chicago hotdog or Italian beef sammich there too.

Afraid I’m not hip to the programming language. What’s the difference between a == and a != ?

As far as chains go, BJ’s Brew House is actually really good:

Maybe, but UNO’s is a chain restaurant and that’s just not cool.

    Smartass.
I think it’s more about that pesky Uno’s tastes grody issue.
    Grody I say.

Pizza in NYC and Chicago tastes better because you are in NYC or Chicago. There’s plenty of great pizza in Columbus, but, if you want Chicago pizza, I highly recommend going to Chicago. It’s best that way.

Just tried to order Fabian’s for pickup. Been a long time since we had it. They didn’t want to honor our Entertainment Book coupon because they said it’s for Dine-In Only, even though it doesn’t say that in the conditions on the back of the coupon, and many others in the Entertainment Book do.

    Fabian’s Fail.

We’ll get pizza from somewhere else that honors their own coupon deals.
