    Out Your Inner Leader.
Pride Leadership and Project Diversity are now accepting applications for their 2015 leadership classes. Pride Leadership, for gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender professionals and Project Diversity for minority professionals, provide training to expand leadership capabilities and facilitates placement onto volunteer boards to provide a diverse perspective in policy-making situations. Individuals complete training workshops in board governance, fundraising, and team-building while completing a group project to strengthen a local nonprofit of the groups choice. This 8 month program provides a detailed look into the roles and responsibilities of a nonprofit board member and involves the participant with community leaders from diverse backgrounds.

United Way of Central Ohio’s Pride Leadership program gives individuals in the LGBT community the knowledge, skills and confidence to serve effectively on nonprofit boards. Learn more about this dynamic program, and register by December 29 for the upcoming January 14, 2015 information session.
