Individually, Jeni’s ice cream flavors can hold their own. When you get multiple scoops you might want to try some different flavors out instead of just the one. I know some of you enjoy teasing me when I make some odd combination picks and I admit that I never gave any more thought then saying, “Oh that looks good!”, like a kid in a candy store. Some flavors can clash pretty badly.

Well I randomly discovered a combo that’s worthy of recommendation! Here it is. Two-scoops, Dark Cocoa Gelato and Salty Caramel. Once they start to melt and meld, you’ve got some serious nom nom nom.

So what combo’s do you all have? Who has the most interesting?

PRO TIP! Ask for the larger cup up front since the two-scoop size is too small.

Sounds promising, thanks for the tip, I’ll try that one!

Leave it to RoRo to have me craving Jeni’s at 10:00 at night…

    My favorite Combos:

Honey Pistachio and Bourbon Butter Pecan

Dark Cocoa Gelato and Backyard Mint

Dark Cocoa Gelato OR Honey Pistachio and Mango Lassi

and Belgian Milk Chocolate (do we see a pattern emerging?) and Strawberry Buttermilk. (Smacks lips longingly.)

    Damn you, RoRo!!! :D

Dark Cocoa gelato + Cherry lambic

Dark Cocoa gelato + Savannah buttermint (favorite flavor ever)

Dark Coca gelato + Lemon Yogurt (I can’t take credit for that one, it’s Jeni’s idea; I don’t even like chocolate and citrus but there’s something about it)

I think most of the sorbets blend well together. I usually get a few of those scoops. :D

My combo isn’t two ice creams but rather the honey pistachio topped with the salty almonds.

I could eat five pounds of that.

I suppose whichever chocolate plus the honey pistachio plus the salty almonds would be really good too though.

Yep, thats what I’m getting next time.

I’m surprised at how many responses involve the Dark Cocoa Gelato!

The Dark Chocolate Gelato and Salty Caramel mixture is a favorite of mine.

Also, I like Salty Caramel with the Maker’s Mark Buttered Pecan.

Savannah Buttermint + Savanna Buttermint (sorry, it’s just THAT good ;) )

Bourbon Buttered Pecan + Honey Pistachio

Bourbon Buttered Pecan + Black Coffee

Toasted Brioche (or whatever it was called) + Black Coffee

–gotta be careful with the Black Coffee though – it’s really strong, and can easily overpower most of the other flavors.

    What’s in the Savannah Buttermint?
