THE LAUGH RUMBLE is a one-night event at Wild Goose Creative on January 25, 2014 at 7:30 PM that brings the format of open mic comedy together with the rules of a professional wrestling “Royal Rumble.”

Each comedian that has signed up for THE LAUGH RUMBLE has had experience coming out to the open mics in Columbus. However, at this event, each comedian will get 5 minutes of stage time and NO MORE than 5 minutes of stage time. A horn will blow at 5 minutes and then the next comedian will be announced to come up to the stage. In addition, if after 2 minutes of stage time, the comedian is not making the crowd laugh, the referee has the discretion to blow the horn at him/her, and then the next comedian will be announced. This format challenges each comedian to have a tight and organized 5 minute set of jokes to entertain an audience.

The event is hosted and refereed by Sumukh Torgalkar.

Admission is $5 for this show.
