We’ve all heard, and may have even made, the critique that there isn’t anywhere Downtown to enjoy good jazz. Well, that’s about to change. Construction is slated to begin in a couple months on The Blackberry Patch, the latest restaurant from Downtown maven Yavonne Sarber, which will be housed inside The Flapper Room, a blues and jazz joint inspired by the 1920s.

By: WalkerDowntown restaurateur Yavonne Sarber announced this evening that two of her previously announced concepts will be relocating and combining under one roof. Barbecue restaurant The Pink Cow (which was announced in July) and Le Ruelle Bleus (originally announced in May as The Flapper Room / Blackberry Patch and later renamed to Le Bleu Salle) will be relocating to Lynn Alley, just off High Street, in the space currently occupied by The Mall Cafe and Thai Lotus.
