I can’t remember the name nor did I read all the posts so it may have already been mentioned, but there is a pizza shop adjacent to the south dorms of tOSU that was delectable. They do a huge “buckeye” pizza on Tuesday or Wednesday (I can’t remember which) and no it is not catfish biffs (is that place still around?) Can someone tell me the name of the pizza shop? In my old age I forget things.
Also, as ridiculous as it is the Texas Coney at Thurmans is great.

    Is that Adriatico’s

Yep, that’s the place, awesome pizza

Bear, it seems like lately you’ve gotten into a habit of making me hungry!! Yum! :)

I am working on a not so subtle campaign to have this become a regular Basi menu item.

Favorite food I’ve only imagined: Jeni’s Ardbeg Corryvreckan (scotch) ice cream.

Thanks Dan, that reminds me of something I wanted to ask on here.

Does anyone know of a place in town to get a REALLY good Cuban sandwich? I’m kind of hooked on them lately.

I might have to stop by Cuco’s today to try that Torta Cubana, even though it’s not a traditional Cuban sandwich, the description from the menu sounds great.

I’ve heard the Cubano at Banana Bean is good, but I’ve never sampled it.

Did someone mention Betty’s meatloaf? Being a connoisseur of meatloaf, this one is the best in Columbus. Also, I really like Dewey’s for pizza.

Yes – the best Cuban sandwich in Columbus. They don’t skimp on any of the classic ingredients.

    I’ll second that… and add.

The fried chicken from Burgundy Room.

    The baked Manicotti @ Scali’s.

Crispy Orange Shrimp from China Dynasty.

The perch fish sandwich from Johnson’s Bar-B-Q Grill. Located on Lockbourne and Whittier Roads this place has been throwing down home made ‘Q since I was a kid. Only recently have I found out that they have THE BEST fish sammich in town.

The things I always recommend are:
    – veggie burger at Northstar (although I picked up some Luna burgers at the Farmer’s Market and they are pretty damn close)
    – Eggs Del Mar at Banana Bean
    – spicy caterpillar roll at Kooma

I hear really good things about the veggie burger at Graffiti Burger. I need to try that soon!
