Stauf’s Now Open in German Village
September 20, 2014 12:22 pm – Walker Evans
The process has taken a little bit longer than originally expected, but the new Stauf’s in German Village officially opened their doors this morning. Located at 627 South Third Street, the new coffee shop and roastery replaced the former Cup O Joe and MoJoe Lounge with the new brand. The result is a more coffee-centric business with more space for seating and a revamped space that is more modern in design with new tables, chairs, menu boards and a refreshed patio.

What’s going on with Cup O Joe’s? Are they all closing? Easton, Bexley, German Village!!!September 21, 2014 9:18 am at 9:18 am #1042456
What’s going on with Cup O Joe’s? Are they all closing? Easton, Bexley, German Village!!!
Cup O Joe, MoJoe Lounge and Stauf’s are all in the same family. Same business.
The Easton store closed because the 10 year lease was up for renewal and the owners said the business traffic had changed there.
The Bexley store closed because the building is being torn down.
The German Village store is essential being rebranded, not closed.

Cup O Joe Closing Short North MoJoe Lounge Location
October 11, 2014 5:24 pm – Walker Evans
Exactly ten years ago, the Short North was radically changed when the I-670 cap opened, bridging the former highway gulch that separated the neighborhood from Downtown, adding new stores, shops, restaurants and other businesses to the area. MoJoe Lounge was a new bar-cafe hybrid concept from the creators of Cup O Joe that opened as one of the original tenants of “The Cap”, but that business will be closing its doors tomorrow following the expiration of its original 10 year lease.

Hold The Coffee @ Stauf’s in Columbus’ German Village
Stauf’s is a coffee shop and roasting company with two other locations: a vendor-size shop at Columbus’ North Market and its founding shop in Grandview Heights, an inner-ring suburb. (Actually, it’s hard to say Columbus even has a ring of suburbs because the city often land-locks it’s neighbors with is sheer land mass. Upon editing, Matt Googled this image to prove there was an obvious ringed structure to Columbus. “If the ring were any more obvious, Google would have conjured this image.”)

Stauf’s will once again be partnering with local organizations for the holidays.
From December 10-December 15, Stauf’s will donate $5 of every pound of whole bean bulk coffee sold to the following organizations:
Stauf’s North Market will donate to Hubbard Mastery School
Stauf’s German Village will donate to German Village Society
Stauf’s Grandview will donate to Grandview Public Library
Please support this cause and if you have friends, co-workers, family, buy them coffee for the holidays, or have your office purchase some for their employees.
