    I bought a scooter and now scoot around downtown and plan on running most of my errands on them in warm weather, if not the bike share when that comes.

    Maybe I’m subconsciously filling a gap that’s missing here… ;)

    You’ll love it.

    I bought one back in 2002 when I was having to fight with parking on campus. It has been a huge help and, turns out a good investment. 11 years later I have 17,000 miles on it just riding around town and commuting. It’s more than paid for itself in fuel savings.

    We were there Easter Weekend and ThaMissus held on to the handrail for dear life. I think were finally comfortable navigating the Metro by day three, but then it was time to leave.
