WHAT:
Columbus City Councilmember Michelle M. Mills, chair of the Public Safety and Judiciary Committee, will hold a public hearing to discuss proposed new City code to regulate the pedicab industry and increase consumer protections and safety. The proposed code will bring this business and transportation option in line with many of the Vehicle for Hire provisions and address the special needs of pedicab operators and riders. Speaker slips will be accepted on the day of the hearing until 5:30 pm. The meeting will be broadcast live on CTV, Columbus’ cable access channel 3 on local cable systems.
