Just found out that the Columbus Table Tennis Club (CTTC), which is currently located in Dublin, will be relocating to the University Village Shopping Center. Who is ready for some pong?!

A more centralized location is awesome! I see more table tennis in my future. Any word on exactly when they will be making the move?

No exact date set, but should be fully moved in by the end of the month.

Apparently all businesses in the northern part of Olde Sawmill Square have been told to vacate by the end of the month. West Side (fka West Shore) Pizza is closing on the 16th, King’s Garden on the 30th. Casto has filed a variance to move a cell tower to allow for redevelopment, which includes demolishing the buildings (or parts thereof) where these businesses and the Table Tennis Club are located. Rumor is a Walmart may be going there, not sure how it will fit, but that’s the rumor.

It’s way past the rumor stage.

Payed a visit this evening to the new location. There is still some cosmetic work to be performed, but aside from that, it’s great. Also, just down the way from Sushi Ting! Bonus!
