Red Robin is taking its gourmet burgers to High Street in late March, but the location will not house a traditional Red Robin experience. Red Robin’s Burger Works, at 1706 North High St., will feature a fast, casual concept behind the beef. Cassie LaBonte, associate marketing manager for Red Robin, said Red Robin’s Burger Works was designed as a smaller and faster alternative to the original Red Robin. I got comped meals here for their soft opening and I found it to be pretty good, even given the campus heavy crowd.
My one quibble is with the use of the automat soda dispenser (and this is more of a general complaint). I think it’s the poster child for the paradox of choice.October 14, 2014 8:32 pm at 8:32 pm #1046165
Red Robin on High St closed last week. According to some signage working its way through UARB approval, the replacement is Blaze Pizza – a fast casual build-your-own pizza chain.October 14, 2014 10:40 pm at 10:40 pm #1046189
