Feh. If you want to see abuse of animals, look into the commercial breeding industries. Look up “caslick” for example, or maybe “crump method” for something more festive.
You can confine them, you can restrain them, you can mutilate them, you can kill them, good for you! But no sex, that’s abuse.
BTW what happened to that guy’s dog? Was she put down?

Oh yeah, watch how fast that gets trumped by the livestock industry lobbyists. They get in the way of anything that could remotely set a precedent for impeding their operations.

Science has already proven pigs are smarter than dogs with intelligence that surpasses that of 3 year old humans.
Meanwhile the latest Mercy for Animals investigation shows our local Kroger sells these pig products:

This is one of the worst I’ve seen yet, and miss “pigs are bouncy” is a former Miss Iowa Pork Princess. Yeah! But we know how well they treat their animals because it doesn’t make sense to abuse them.

What worries me is all of those people finding out it is not illegal.

Figure if someone thinks of a pet shop when they hear the phrase “get a little pussy” they’re not too concerned about legalities.

If there was ever a reason to bring back CU sig lines, this is it.

I am guessing it could be politically damaging to oppose this bill. Probably a good place to tack on some sketchy legislation, I hope it is read carefully.

Oh crap, I didn’t think of that.

“How did you get this written into law?”

“Believe it or not, we tacked it onto an anti-dog-fucking bill. Who’s going to vote against that?”

There was nothing on that page describing what products Krogers sells, instead it was an attempt at displaying a violent video on autoplay.

Additionally, nothing of what you wrote was on topic.

Maybe she thinks fucking is the same as eating. Which is right up there on list of “DO NOT DATE THIS PERSON” signals.

On the other hand, would make dinner out interesting in a “I’ll have what she’s having” kinda way.

one of them was put down from related injuries, yes.

in essence the guy f***ed his dog to death.

I have no problem making this illegal. srsly.

amazing. i’m seeing an overwhelming amount of “people” acting annoyed that this is officially being made illegal. i guess thats not surprising, given ohio is one of the worst states in terms of weak animal anti-cruelty laws. is this law somehow impeding people’s access to “cultural amenities”?

Selective reading 10Sun? Evidently you missed the very first link in that post with additional story details.

Evidently you missed the information just below the video (which one can easily hit the pause button for): “Sadly, grocery giants Kroger, Costco, Safeway, and Hy-Vee condone confining animals in crates barely larger than their bodies by selling pork from producers who use gestation crates – including Iowa Select Farms. These corporations have both the power and ethical responsibility to reject this abusive factory farming practice by immediately adopting policies that require suppliers to phase out their use of gestation crates.”

You may have also missed the link detailing bestiality on farmed animals, here:
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/bruce-friedrich/does-eating-meat-support-_b_773166.html

Perhaps I should have just started a new thread drilling down on the cruelty and negative consequences of hog harming. I felt that the intelligence of pigs compared to dogs was a relevant subject when talking about sex with animals especially since this bill is not just specific to dogs.

So are you saying you don’t see jacking another animal off as bestiality? That’s right up there with Clinton and his multi-purposes for the cigar. Hey Rus, can you find that star wars parody graphic by chance with Clinton as Luke Skywalker holding the cigar up, Ken Starr as Darth Vader? Oh, actually it was easy to find:

I was responding to Alex’s comments about abuse vs. sex because they were spot on- neither dogs or harmed animals consent to either sexual liberty taken, regardless of pleasurable purpose, for eating or ejaculation receptacle, it is a violation.

This legislature has an established and predictable pattern of stalling on voting for other obviously egregious domestic pet abuse, specifically starving dogs to death, as in Nitro’s Law.

Are you aware that Ohio has some of the most lax animal abuse laws in the nation?
    http://www.examiner.com/pets-in-cleveland/ohio-house-to-review-animal-cruelty-law

In case you are interested The Ohio 111th Score Card is at the bottom of this link:
    http://hslf.typepad.com/political_animal/2011/02/index.html

Are you aware that dogs are now regulated by the Livestock Care Standards Board since the passing of Issue 2?
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9j_JCqtH4wQ

As predictably transparent as it was that Billy Jo Greg would get off easy, I can guarantee you that this law will go nowhere and this guy will continue to get off with animals.

Why? You had to know I would connect the dots on the clearly carnist/speciesist disconnect in this situation. We are all Michael Vick. No matter which way you want to dice it, it is all for pleasure.
    http://www.abolitionistapproach.com/media/links/p2026/michael-vick.pdf

Animal’s status as “property” is the fundamental debacle.

Keep in mind this is more than men on female animals. With a small amount of looking around you can find plenty of images of male dogs thoroughly enjoying themselves, with men and women.

As for putting the dog down – I know they put down a dog in the past, but what about the one he had when he was busted? I never heard anything about her, but I’ll bet they killed her.

You may have also missed the [ Scmidts bahama mama ]link detailing

Perhaps I should have just started a another new thread drilling down [pork chops]
BACON, sausage patties, ribs in BBQ, pulled pork <he he hehe> , hotdogs.

What I read, but I have not had breakfast yet.

    By the way.
Has anyone actually seen the bill?
Or are people just ranting about a Dispatch article that is pretty obviously short on actual facts and wriiten mostly on hearsay?

Also, there seem to be a large number of bills dealing with farm animals and dogs.
