    Pigskin Brewing Company Plans Fall Launch

    The microbrewery scene in Columbus has continued to grow at a rapid pace in 2013, and another local operation seeks to be up and running before the end of the year. Pigskin Brewing is the name of this new venture, which will be launching out of a warehouse at 1400 Dublin Road sometime this fall.

    Last fall we featured a new startup beer brewer called Pigskin, which announced plans to renovate a warehouse space at 1400 Dublin Road to open a new taproom and brewery. The team behind the new business announced tonight on Facebook that they would be relocating to Creekside in Gahanna.

    Pigskin Brewing Co. is building a brewery and bar at Creekside in Gahanna with a late fall/early winter target for opening. Owners Tarry Summers and Mike Rockwell gave me an update on the business, which they started with brothers Craig and Nick Bailey and other investors two years ago. After a false start last year at a site near Grandview Heights, they said it’s been a long journey and they’re happy to have an end in sight.
