Did the downtown store at the corner of Long & 4th St close? They have banners across their sign saying to visit their other locations. The location doesn’t come up on their website any longer either. Did they just close the store on performance, or is something going on with that space?February 6, 2015 1:53 pm at 1:53 pm #1062493

Hopefully this. Long and 4th are finally getting a bit of momentum going in that area. Better activating the NTB site would go a long way toward furthering the progress underway.February 6, 2015 2:26 pm at 2:26 pm #1062500
It was my understanding (from a recent laid off employee of NTB) that they began shutting down underperforming stores across the region. They were supposed to find positions for the majority of their employees in other stores but laid them all off instead.February 6, 2015 4:45 pm at 4:45 pm #1062516
Would love love love this corner to get snatched up. Could really tie into Edwards and the other shops near Summit. Just need those two vacant boarded up buildings on Long and Third to be renovated…February 10, 2015 10:24 am at 10:24 am #1062876
Can’t speak to under-performing shops or motivations behind the move, but the banner on the building states that they have “moved” to another Columbus address. I’ll try to snag the street address next time I’m by.February 10, 2015 8:39 pm at 8:39 pm #1062948

Still have Goodyear and Firestone at Spring & Third!
Though we take our car to Grismer at Main & Fourth for maintenance and tires. ;)March 20, 2015 1:59 pm at 1:59 pm #1068112

There’s a for-lease sign on the property now. Capitol Equities.March 20, 2015 2:29 pm at 2:29 pm #1068122
Looks like they will want to keep the current use. Was really hoping this could be an opportunity to develop the site. Still holding out hope…January 17, 2016 12:05 pm at 12:05 pm #1111034
It looks like they just took down the “For Lease” sign (that they had just re-erected a couple of weeks ago -due to utility construction) in the parking lot of the former NTB property at Long St & 4th St. The sign in the window of the building is also gone.
I wonder if someone took up the lease.
