keep in mind that Boston Market has wonderful food, and the catering is worthwhile, but in this age with Postmates, OrderUP, GrubHub, SkiptheDishes, Cafe Courier, and soon DoorDash there are options out there.

Boston Market has very specific procedures that you must follow which set high standards but are a LOT of work, and you must dress according to the specs with clothes YOU provide except for the hat. you also provide your own vehicle and often have to drive pretty far for a delivery since they are unpredictable.
So you cannot be assured hours consistently, and if you don’t have all day availability, it might be short notice and you have to turn it down.

you also are NOT allowed to accept tips, either through the order process online or through the store, or in person by cash. you are also expected to canvas areas to drum up business which most businesses you approach are not interested in hearing if they are busy.

I will always eat the amazing food there but just wanted to give a little perspective on this gig. it works well for many but knowing is being able to decide.
