Heard the mayor’s office just approved new pedestrian friendly street lamps – can any CU members confirm?

Nope, but I would like to see Long St (Hamilton Park to 17th) and Mt Vernon (Talmadge to 20th) themselves be made more pedestrian-friendly similar to what was done for Gay St (but with less medians). There are new businesses, new condos, and a renovated Lincoln Theatre, so it only makes sense that the streets should be urbanized.

    Agreed.

And what exactly is a pedestrian friendly street lamp.
