If you are at all like me you feel quite a bit of pressure to plan a perfect New Year’s Eve. Thankfully, the New Year’s Eve calendar in Columbus is jam packed with plenty of events to help you ring in the New Year.

Hollywood Casino’s “Midnight Circus”

set to ring in 2014

Party Packages include discounted hotel stays

(Columbus, OH) –Hollywood Casino Columbus is finalizing preparations to welcome and entertain

guests from the Columbus area and Ohio for its New Year’s Eve vintage circus-themed extravaganza.

The central Ohio gaming and entertainment establishment is offering a free experience on the gaming

floor with live and experiential entertainment, plus packages starting at $69 for entry to the Event Center

New Year’s Eve Party. Packages $89 to $149 include entry into the party and a hotel stay. The party

will include live music and entertainment, complimentary buffet, 2 drink tickets per person, and party

favors. If you purchase the package that includes a hotel stay, transportation to and from the casino will

also be available. Tickets to attend the Midnight Circus Event Center party are available online at http://

Hollywood Columbus will be alive with roving, circus-themed performers including jugglers,

contortionists, stilt walkers, living statues, and other acts. The “circus” will continue throughout the entire

casino and into the night.

The party on the gaming floor and in o.h. Lounge is open to the public, and will also feature live

entertainment and a balloon drop at midnight.

Hollywood Casino is going to pay someone’s mortgage for 2014! In the main December promotion,

“New Year, No Mortgage,” Hollywood Columbus is giving away $2,014 in Free SlotPlay Credit to 10

winners and a Grand Prize of $20,000 cash to one lucky guest. Drawings will take place from 9 to 11

p.m. on New Year’s Eve and a second chance drawing at 1a.m. on New Year’s Day. Participants must

be Marquee Rewards members, and can sign up for a free membership card any time by visiting Player

Services/Cashier. More details on the New Year’s Eve Giveaway can be found on the Hollywood Casino

Buffet specials on New Year’s Eve include lunch from 11a.m. until 3p.m. for $13.99. The Live it Up

Club promotion, discount for players 55+, will be honored. The dinner buffet, from 4p.m. until 1a.m.for

$21.99, will feature all-you-can-eat crab legs and prime rib.

On New Year’s Day, Epic Buffet will offer a special brunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $13.99, and

its dinner buffet from 4 to 9 p.m. for $19.99. Final Cut Steak and Seafood, Hollywood Casino’s premiere

fine-dining establishment, will open an hour early on New Year’s Day at 4 p.m.

“We want to make Hollywood Casino Columbus THE New Year’s Eve destination for our guests and

going to be a fun, glamorous circus of an event – and with the different package options, it will be a

On N.Y.E we plan to have ala carte specials that reflect our love of New Orleans and southern cuisine. We will be open for lunch as well and the special menu will commence at 5:00. Hats, noisemakers and complimentary champagne toast will be provided. We will gladly take reservations for both events.

On New Years we will have the band “The Pleasant Tense” from 9pm to 1am. There will be a cover of $10 at the door starting at 8:30 pm. We will be offering a hats, noise makers, and a Champagne toast at midnight.
