I’m very pleased to announce the fulfillment of a long-held dream, the release of some of my instrumental music. Due to a personal connection, I was able to secure a top performer for these recordings, Jazz violinist Christian Howes –of whom guitar legend Les Paul said “there is nobody better”. (He is one of Columbus’ true musical treasures –if you don’t know his music, please check him out at http://christianhowes.com .)

Drunken Drive A instrumental narrative for two violins and piano, about what not to do behind the wheel of a car.

Coy Dog Waltz My personal favorite of my own songs, an alt-classical fantasia named for the half-dog half-coyote hybrids that roam free in Southern Ohio.

Please check it out. You can stream it in its entirety for free at Loudr and purchase it there or at iTunes if you so choose. Comments welcome –depending on the reaction to these songs, I may try to do a full length release at some point in the future.

Chris, I really liked those pieces, esp Coy Dog Waltz. An immediate first reaction on hearing CDW, it’s like Schubert meets Jay Unger. Well done, and hope to hear more.

Another vote for CDW, that’s a pleasant piece.

Wow, those are really good. I’m leaning more towards Drunken Drive, but liked them both.

    Congrats and well done, man.

Thanks so much! Ungar probably was an unconscious influence —Ashokan Farewell is one of my mother’s favorite songs.
