Love my iPhone. With the recent iOS update I think my favorite thing is the syncing of all of my devices using the free iCloud space. Not to mention it’s crazy simple and takes less than a minute to set up. At first I didn’t think much of it, but having all of my contacts, bookmarks, browsing history, music, etc instantly sync’ed across all of my devices (iPhone, iMac, Powerbook, iPad) whenever I edit or use anything is really nice.

Having multiple devices used to be a huge pain in the butt, because I’d have to duplicate so many files and stuff to get all of the things I like on each device. Now it’s seamless. I get a lot of the arguments from power users and Android fans against Apple and it’s closed ecosystem, but I totally dig it.

On a smaller note, I also actually started to like the “Reading List” feature in Safari. One little click and I can check it out later on any of my other devices in an convenient little pane in Safari. I like it rather than clogging up my list of organized bookmarks. I used to be a Firefox-only user for many years, but some of the recent additions to Safari made me switch.

Apple Drops iPhone 4S Price To $99 And Will Give Away The iPhone 4 For Free
ROMAIN DILLETposted 24 mins ago

[i]At the Apple live event, Tim Cook announced that the iPhone 4S will still be available and the price will drop to $99. Apple is perpetuating the same strategy by keeping the previous generation iPhone in its line-up to attract customers concerned by the price. The iPhone 4 will stay in the lineup as well and Apple will give it away if you sign a two-year contract in the U.S. A similar offering should show up around the world.

If history is anything I’m guessing the $99 4S will be an 8gb version as well.

somebody should probably let the world of craigslist know that they’re giving away iP4s. Prices are still dumb high on the used market.

Giving them away with a 2 year contract and data limitation. People are so afraid of these tiered plans that they are willing to pay full price for a phone so they can keep their unlimited data.
