I am wondering where would I network with startups/entrepreneurs? My company offers affordable professional I.T managed services that are focused on startups. I am NOT trying to advertise, so I am not including the name of the company. I just don’t know where to start finding clients that are ether starting up or are small businesses? I have found this website: http://columbusregion.com/InSite.aspx?searchArea=SearchCompanies&searchCompaniesCounty=Franklin&searchCompaniesStaff=10-19

However I am wondering, are there networking opportunities for startups. My company is a startup as well. Thanks!

Check out Columbus Underground’s sister-site The Metropreneur: https://www.themetropreneur.com/columbus/. The whole site is focused on small businesses and entrepreneurs, with articles about upcoming events as they come up. Also, keep an eye on Columbus Underground’s event calendar – there’s a category for business events: http://www.columbusunderground.com/events.

Events like Wake Up Start Up and Sundown Rundown offer a lot of networking opportunities for pitching businesses. Startup Weekend is also coming up – https://www.themetropreneur.com/columbus/startup-weekend-health-edition/

Organizations like Experience Columbus and the Columbus Chamber also have a lot of networking events for local businesses.

Great thanks! Very helpful. I was going to go to the wakeup and start up today but my business cards never showed up yesterday. Plus I’m not looking for startup funding as much as clients right now. Can someone go to wakeup and start up with out looking for capital?

Anyways, thanks for the links !
