This was quite unecessary. If you can’t relate to the thread, please just move on and roll your eyes to yourself.

Captain! Glad to see you back and yeah, I bet you a nickel someone is looking for something. Who’s doing the digging?

My bad. Just a little humor. I’ll go edit it before anyone else gets their undies bunched up over it.

    just curious,

    1) Is this property vacant?

    2) If not, did the owners put in the park benchs? or did a previous owner?

no its not. ive lived here for 4 years, and the same ppl have lived there that whole time. the bench was there when i moved in.

honestly i didnt even know they had one in their back yard… i dont climb the fence very often to check out their yard lol.

lol, yeah won’t have to walk far.

It just seems to me that both places were “marked with a park bench”

growing up we had a neighbor that buried a beloved pet and put a small table and chair atop it. She would go out and do her crossword every morning it was odd but sweet.

My thought is whoever put the park benches there knows what was dug up.

it wasnt the people who live there, thats for sure. they are as baffled as i am…

i figure it was some shawshank redemption shit… someone buried their ill gotten gains there, and ended up in jail or whatever.

told their friend “dig under the bench right by the fence”

they did, and came up with nothing… went back “dude your shit wasnt there!”

“ohh you meant the bench in the back yard near the fence”

the second hole wasnt as deep… maybe they got spooked and had to run out quick. maybe i should go over and dig it out a bit more :)

im keeping my eyes peeled though.

maybe they already found their loot and are on their way to a cushy life somewhere where the beer flows like wine and beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano? and the key to happiness was right underneath your neighbors second park bench the whole time… thats enough to make any grown man cry.
