Mighty Mac’s used to be Mad Mac’s, yes? Still Macarons, I’m hoping. It’s on my Get-List along with Worth brownies.

they should really consider closing off Gay St between 3rd & High for this. just too crowded. its a good problem to have, but makes for terrible shopping since one cant see the merch through all the people.

they should really consider closing off Gay St between 3rd & High for this. just too crowded. its a good problem to have, but makes for terrible shopping since one cant see the merch through all the people.

The event will be expanding further down Gay Street (both east and west) this season to Front and Fourth Streets with more vendors added on High and in Lynn Alley as well. Spreading them out more should help ease some of the sidewalk congestion. The April event was crazy busy last year too since it was the first one of the season. The rest were a little more reasonable. ;)

Closing the street off is likely not going to happen anytime soon. It’s a whole other level of permits, fees and setup/teardown. It also removes valet and parking access for businesses where it is mandatory on a Saturday night like The Vault and Residence Inn.

But yeah… crowded sidewalks are certainly a good problem to have. ;)
