The Hungarian Village Society presents the Hungarian Village Garden Tour, July 10 from 10am to 4 pm. This year we are teaming up with the 12th Annual Merion Village Garden Tour on the same date. Explore the unique and lovely gardens of both Merion Village and Hungarian Village at your own pace. View the amazing gardens in both of these historic neighborhoods.
The Hungarian Village Garden Tour features 10 gardens located on both South Fourth St and East Hinman Ave. Hungarian Village is an up and coming neighborhood directly south of Merion Village. Originally founded by Hungarian immigrants at the turn of the last century the neighborhood now is home to a diverse community of original Hungarian residents, young couples buying their first homes, a growing LGBT population, and long time residents originally from southern Ohio and Kentucky. Hungarian Village celebrates its diversity and welcomes everyone to come and see our gardens and how great our neighborhood is.
