Not only does he step on the U.S Flag, he does it in front of children.

YouTube Lil Wayne Steps on U.S Flag

    Lil Wayne’s take on this

I’m sick of people of “fame” thinking that everything will be OK again if they apologize to the media. Every American should know you don’t step on an American flag period. I hope they burned that flag properly after (highly doubt it).

    Or read this:

    http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2013/06/18/lil-wayne-tramples-on-american-flag-in-video-raps-this-is-sweet-land-kill-em/

I don’t think it’s a big deal, especially if it was for an effect for the video. The lyrics, on the other hand should maybe be the issue.

If Lil Wayne stepped on a flag in the woods while no one was around, would it make a sound?

But it was stepping on the American flag. Are you saying that his actions are no different then the case of Michael Jackson dangling his son from the Window?

If people really feel like this is just another “controversial action” from a person of “fame”, then there is something wrong with the patriotism of this country.

    Who cares.

If he’s your child’s role model to begin with then shame on you.

Are you saying stepping on a flag is worse than dangling a kid out of a window?

That must be it. Is he lil enough to be stepped on? If so that solves your problem.

good thing we live in the united states, where a person’s right to free speech isn’t limited by someone else’s definition of “patriotism.”
