Breathing life into the Statehouse area after 5 PM is terrific, and this will help accomplish that.

The hotel going into the Leveque will be a boon; more hotels and residences, and draws to this beautiful area of our city, will make more decisions like this one from Jack and Benny’s possible.

This place will really take off once the neighboring developments finish by 2017. Hopefully the surrounding bar districts can pull in enough traffic. Gay St is very close, and 4th St and Franklinton within walking distance. Not to mention “commuters” from GV/Short North.

    Agreed.

In the meantime, only the Sheraton and 8 Broad St. have anyone in the building after close of business. That will change.

There’s a potential boutique hotel on Broad; the LeVeque; and whatever comes next with Wolfe’s land. There’s also a parking lot ripe for development on Broad, and a still vacant space adjacent to the Sheraton that once housed a bank (that moved down the street).

On those mornings when you wake up too early it would be great to grab a bite downtown before work.
