Confused as to why this is still considered in the “Short North” and not “Arena District”.

It’s not really The Arena District either. Just a part of Downtown. ;)

Either way, it’s a super fun event!

I agree. Enjoyed the event better when it was in the Short North… but the new location makes it 1000 X easier to get into. The first year it took over an hour to park.

OK, so it isn’t really part of the arena district, or the short north.
they need to update their press.

Friday night will be packed for sure. Saturday night they are going up against the 8pm football kick off. I’m sure it will still be busy but I wonder how many people will roll in late after the game.

Jeez guys, you worried about tons of people wandering around 5th and High, wondering where the party is? No one’s gonna get lost. It moves every year.

I think the press probably reflects the fact that the event is put on by people from the Short North Arts District and benefits the Short North Arts District (Short North Alliance).

It’s not like someone called 5xnw Grandview or something.

It has only been in 2 locations.

In my opinion it benefits the downtown/arena area now with the traffic/business a lot more than the short north. As opposed to where it was previously.

The move makes sense in terms of logistics, but it was more fun for me up north where I like the bars much better.

when I said ‘benefits’ I meant ‘is a fundraiser for’.

I’ve been searching “dogs” and “run” for quite sometime on CU. Finally my search is yielding!

I thought the location last year was great. Definitely looking forward to this year. If I recall correctly there were a lot of complains from SN business owners about High being blocked off when it was north of the current location.
