    HighBall is celebrating its fifth year this Saturday as *the* Halloween party of Central Ohio. Thousands of costumed partygoers will take over a section of closed-off High Street on Saturday from 5pm to 1am for drinks, entertainment, food, live music, light shows, fashion and more.

    If that’s not convincing enough for you, here’s five more reasons you won’t want to miss this year’s event:

    Hilton had it’s soft opening October 19th, so they are open for business. The grand opening will be be Nov 17th. From what I hear, they are also renting out tables for drinks/dinner on their skywalk that connects to the Convention Center allowing for a perfect viewing of the stage and all the shenanigans going down on High St.

    Barley’s kitchen will be open to at leat 1:00 AM for all the revelers that get hungry later.

    Throw in the Abbey Normal and Bloodthirst Wheat and your in business.

    HighBall Halloween takes over Columbus’ High Street with costume couture

    In an event described as part Carnivale and part Mardi Gras, HighBall Halloween aims to bring a new Halloween experience to Columbus Saturday. HighBall is designed to showcase the creativity of Columbus’ Short North with eight hours of music, art and fashion. Celebrating its fifth year, the event is scheduled to be held from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday in front of the Columbus Convention Center.
