Are the 2016 primaries an indication that America has finally ‘Jumped the Shark’ or is it an indication that democracy and free speech are finally breaking down the two-party system?

Trump on track to win GOP nomination

Has there ever been any other election where one candidate accuses his opponent of incontinence?

Some of the old historical accounts of campaign material are rather nasty but I’m not sure they ever covered wetting your pants.

So more than anyone we have the pathetic media to thank for where we are at. No coverage of the endless issues that could have derailed trump. It’s a scandal. No coverage of the failures and corruption of the Clinton machine. The reason no change happens is because we have a corrupt lacky media landscape. We are being screwed by the people that view themselves as the gate keepers of our democracy. The evil in this country is in the press. Trump is their wet dream come true.

I’m not sure I’d agree that the media’s more at fault than anyone, but they’re certainly not innocent. I’m more prone to place the blame on the candidate who is proposing war crimes as part of his poorly articulated platform.

There’s a lot of articles out there that aren’t about America jumping the shark… but instead about the GOP jumping the shark…

But yeah… it does feel like Reality Star Trump is actively paving the way for President Camacho…

David Axelrod (Obama’s head campaign strategist) had the best analysis of Donald Trump. He said that “Trump is the ultimate salesman who will tell you whatever it takes to get you in that car, today”.

If you think about it, he’s probably right. Almost all of Trump’s adult success has depended on his uncanny ability to sell new ideas to investors. Many of the ideas failed but he still got to keep a cut up front while the investors took most of the losses on those failures. Trump even said that it’s better to sell his name to a real estate project than to build it himself because there’s nothing to lose.

Donald Trump may be the best salesman of our time. Question is: do we really want to buy what he’s selling?

Jumping The Shark would indicate that Obama’s presidency was the “peak”…yeah I don’t think so.

Everyone is sick of politicians. Democrats are putting up a socialist and a oligarchy, lying potential felon. Republicans are putting up extremely weak candidate in Rubio and a oligarchy candidate in Bush. Trump is putting himself up. People are sick of politics. It’s fun to watch.

Hopefully more good comes out of the change and the 2-party system is re-evaluated or both parties die. They have outlasted their welcome.

Remember: Trump is more of a 3rd party than a Republican. He has been a registered democrat his whole life and supported Obama openly in 2008.

Am I the only one who thinks Trump is totally messing with the republicans and having a roaring good time in the process?

The Republicans and the Democrats have it all wrong, Trump will be the next president, 100% mark my words. Republicans believe Dems will never vote for him, and Dems believe the same, but he has more crossover appeal than either Hillary or Cruz both of who are trying to pander to their Looney base. Hillary is just now doing this because of Sanders and Cruz has always been a loon. Trump has the crossover where idiot rednecks will vote for him, and idiot Union Democrat factory workers will vote for him. The funny part of it s neither the reps nor the Dems realize that getting those two groups to vote for you(which make up the majority of the US population) will let you win.

You mean the same democrat “idiots” who voted for Obama in 08/12? Typical that they are now idiots for supporting someone that you don’t support. I see Trump or Hillary as almost the same, but probably would prefer Trump because he’s not represented by one of the two parties…at all.

Problem is he’s not even getting traditional republican support. He’s gathering independents, democrats, and some republicans. Remember he’s only grabbing ~35% tops of the electorate.

Check out the Republican turnout because of him, it’s huge. These are people who don’t even consider themselves Republican.

    Turnout
