LGBT Activists Answer Billboard by Patiently Awaiting Marriage Equality
April 16, 2015 11:27 am – Walker Evans
This week, the “Holy Matrimony” billboard has returned to Fifth Avenue, likely to coincide with the Supreme Court hearing that may strike down Ohio’s same sex marriage ban, bringing marriage equality to the state. We’ll probably find out Monday or Tuesday what the Supreme Court has ruled.
I am betting a 6-3 ruling ridding of gay marriage bans for good, with Kennedy writing the majority opinion, and Roberts writing a concurrence on discrimination grounds, and Scalia writing a scathing dissent (redundant for him).June 25, 2015 5:23 pm at 5:23 pm #1082532
