    By Alan Johnson

    The Columbus Dispatch

Two Columbus men married in New York were granted a divorce by a private judge appointed by Franklin County Domestic Relations Court. Jonathan E. Baize, 31, and Stephen J. Wissman, 31, were granted a divorce last week by Judge Donald A. Cox after a 10-minute, “unremarkable” hearing, said attorney Thomas J. Addesa. He represented only Baize in the case.

Does this set a legal precedent?
How can you dissolve something that doesn’t exist(in Ohio)?
can’t wait to see what happens next.

they probably wanted a divorce so they are free to marry chickens and horses. because gay marriage is the gateway to beastiality.

    Judge refuses lesbians a divorce
    by Alan Johnson

Why was a lesbian couple’s marriage dissolution rejected by a Franklin County judge when the same court granted two gay men a divorce days earlier?

That’s the question Laura Christina Thompson and Evangeline Grace Roller are asking after Judge Jim Mason of Franklin County Domestic Relations Court refused on Wednesday to end their marriage.

Likely the divorce issue will end up before the State Supreme Court and will likely vote to recognise out-of-state divorce cases because the U.S. Constitution requires states to recognise valid out-of-state legal contracts and documents. A legal marriage in NY eventually means recognition here, at least for divorce purposes. Second, Ohio’s DOMA does not criminalize same-sex marriage and the State Supreme Court has already ruled that DOMA does not prevent same-sex domestic violence criminal charges. Perhaps Judge Mason was just posturing for conservative Christians.
