If it’s your business, you would absolutely want to maximize positive searchable feedback and minimize the negative.

It’s not like it’s a crime to do so. It’s great that the betty’s family of restaurants are implying there are additional benefits to taking care of it at the moment (bill adjustment, swift justice, etc).

The internet has been a hugely disruptive technology in terms of restaurant word of mouth, and in my opinion, it’s fine to experiment with asking that customers approach you through a certain channel.

Smart businesses go where conversations about them are already occuring organically rather than asking people to talk on their own terms. BFR have done a great job of doing just that in the past. I think they’ve done an exemplary job of addressing concerns in this thread and in the past. A few critical comments are not going to cause much trouble at all – I’d be suspicious if there weren’t any.

Just got back from DF’s. We had excellent service, my daughter even ordered the Octodog, and even though the Octodog specialist was not on hand, she got one anyway.

The waitstaff was very attentive. Also saw another family w/a young child.

    Good clean fun.

It’s a hot dog that is famous for no reason other than having 8 kids. Not to be confused with the menu item “Jon & Hot Dog Plus 8 Condiments”.

I just sent that Octomac picture to my brother and sister in law as another incentive for them to visit and bring my niece out here. Love it!

You know, as long as it doesn’t have a butthole I’m ok with it..

Either way there might be whisky involved..

I don’t know, the main complaint seems to be toasted buns (forum complaints have been filed), and one server (forum complaints have been filed). I don’t know, Liz and other members of of Lesser’s group have responded to other forums. They have probably seen it and will deal with it; if you feel they have not, e-mail them on the CU member they set up and have posted on several forums.

I went there with my son for the first time today and it was soo great. My kid said it is his most favorite place!!! Great service, super tasty and LOVED the decor.

I dropped in last night as even posting in the thread made me want a dog. That said there had to have been over a half dozen CU folks eating at a few different tables and a few tables of Junctionview folks at the same time.

A truly great reason to head downtown at night!
