I had no idea Columbus shared any history with DeLorean cars (think “Back to the Future”). Then, I just happened upon this article while browsing the net this morning:
I do recall quite some time ago when visiting an inner city neighborhood here in Columbus, I spotted two Deloreans parked outdoors in a back yard behind some old house. I don’t remember where or when… but there they were. I bet the were somehow related to the goings-on described in above article. Interesting!October 4, 2015 1:57 pm at 1:57 pm #1095877

There’s an apartment building on Main Street in the Riversouth area between Civic Center and Ludlow (just west of the Scioto fountains) that has had at least one Delorean (and sometimes two) parked behind it for at least 10-12 years, if not longer. They’ve been there for as long as I can remember.October 4, 2015 2:53 pm at 2:53 pm #1095879

I always wanted to go to one of these. I don’t own a Delorean but love back to the future. I think they did their annual meeting at BJ’s in Polaris 1 or 2 years ago.October 5, 2015 10:49 am at 10:49 am #1095969
There does seem to be a decent market for these.
