    Crackdown On Seat Belt Violators

    NEWARK, Ohio – Troopers are about to start an effort to save lives after an up tick in fatal crashes that may have been prevented. A high school student and beloved equestrian trainer died in separate accidents on the same day in Licking County. A third person died the next day. None of the victims was wearing a seatbelt.

    I’ve literally been buckled up for as long as I can remember back to early childhood. If a car starts moving before I have a belt on I almost feel panicky because I’m not restrained; it’s actually uncomfortable.
