Cookies Cravings owner turns baking hobby into a business
BUSINESS PROFILES — BY MELISSA DEGRAW METZ ON APRIL 20, 2012
One of the first calls Lindsey Terwanger made after signing the lease for her new Italian Village cookie shop, Cookie Cravings, was to Melissa DeGraw Metz, director of membership at Experience Columbus. When the shop’s doors opened two months later, in December 2011, Lindsey had used relationships and marketing opportunities provided through her Experience Columbus membership to help lay the foundation for her business’s success.

New Bakery Cookie Cravings Open in Italian Village
A new cookie shop has opened in Italian Village. Nestled at the southeast corner of Fourth Street and Third Ave, Cookie Cravings Bakery opened last month. Lindsey Tewanger and a close friend had been baking and decorating cookies for about a year for friends. When the orders kept coming, they became difficult to manage as they were both working full time.

Treat to Try: Pistachio Berry Sticky Bun at Cookie Cravings
Published on February 6, 2013 8:00 am
I stopped in Cookie Cravings Bakery for their brunch last Saturday and it is very difficult to limit yourself to one item when there are so many lovelies to choose from. So the Pistachio Berry Sticky Bun also ended up in my bag. How lucky I was to get one fresh out of the oven! This item is also one that is being tested, but it should definitely be placed on the menu full-time. Usually with sticky buns, I can’t wait to get to the gooey soft center where all of the flavors combine in a mega sweet-fest, but this one was love at first bite.

Husband picked one up over the weekend, I was too slow on the uptake and it was gone before I had a nibble. Love their stuff!May 4, 2013 12:36 am at 12:36 am #495724

Cravings Carryout Cafe Looking for New Location
August 26, 2015 9:18 am – Walker Evans
Cravings Carryout Cafe was one of the first of a new wave of businesses that opened in Italian Village over the past several years, and as of September 13th, they will no longer call 227 East Third Avenue their home. A message was posted on their website yesterday making a plea for assistance in finding a new location as quickly as possible, as their lease will not be renewed beyond September.

I love cravings carryout. They have the best sandwiches. I hope they’re able to find a new place soon. And if they’re gonna move it might as well be a little closer to Harrison West.October 21, 2015 7:34 pm at 7:34 pm #1098410
Cravings Cafe Relocating Downtown
October 21, 2015 7:25 pm – Walker Evans
After losing their location in Italian Village back in September, Cravings Carryout Cafe has been without a permanent home. While the company has focused their public efforts on hosting pop-up events over the past month, they’ve been working behind the scenes on reopening in a new location Downtown at 114 North Front Street.
